2. General information on data processing
We generally process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The processing usually only takes place after consent of the user or where the processing is permitted by legal regulations.
Where consent of the data subject is obtained for processing operations of personal data, Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. a GDPR serves as the legal basis. For processing necessary for the performance of a contract Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. b GDPR. For legal obligations Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. c GDPR. For legitimate interests Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR.
3. Hosting
Our website is hosted by an external service provider. Personal data collected on this website is stored on the servers of the hoster. This may include IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website accesses and other data generated through a website.
The hoster is used for the purpose of fulfilling the contract with our potential and existing customers Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. b GDPR and in the interest of secure, fast and efficient delivery of our online offer by a professional provider Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR. A data processing agreement has been concluded with the hoster.
4. Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in server log files which your browser transmits automatically. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR. Storage takes place for a maximum of 30 days for technical security and error analysis.
5. Cookies
Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage. We use both session cookies that are deleted at the end of a session and persistent cookies that remain on your device for a maximum of two years.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
If cookies are used on our website that are not strictly necessary for the operation of the website, this is done exclusively on the basis of your consent in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 paragraph 1 TTDSG. You can revoke your consent at any time via our cookie consent banner.
6. Contact and email
When you contact us by email or via a contact form, the user's information is stored for processing the contact request and its handling. We do not pass this data on without your consent. The legal basis is Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. b GDPR for contractual requests as well as Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR within the scope of our legitimate interest in answering your request. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of processing.
7. Community waitinglist
When you sign up for our community waitinglist, we collect your first and last name, your email address as well as voluntary information about your role, your focus and your motivation. We use this data to keep you on the list, to inform you with updates about the community and to offer you access to the community once it opens.
Processing is based on your consent in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time by sending an email to info@quik-services.de. In the event of revocation, your data will be deleted unless legal retention obligations apply.
8. Project submissions
When you pitch a project or idea via our submission form, we process your contact and project data exclusively for processing and answering your submission. The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. a GDPR as well as our legitimate interest in processing the request in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR.
9. Newsletter and Brevo
For sending newsletters and updates we use the service Brevo by Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany. When you sign up for our newsletter, the data you provide is transmitted to Brevo and stored there. Brevo processes the data on our behalf based on a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR.
We use the data exclusively for sending the newsletter and for statistical evaluation of open and click rates. You can revoke your consent to storage and to sending the newsletter at any time. The revocation can be done by clicking the link provided in every newsletter mail or by sending us a message.
10. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics as well as Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website.
Use only takes place if you have consented under Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 paragraph 1 TTDSG. IP addresses are transmitted in anonymised form (IP anonymization activated). A transfer of data to the USA can take place. A data processing agreement has been concluded with Google.
11. Content delivery networks
For the fast and secure delivery of our website, we may use content delivery networks such as Cloudflare Inc., AWS CloudFront by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL and others. Technical data such as your IP address is processed for the delivery of the content. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and performant delivery in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR.
12. Web fonts
This site uses web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of typefaces. When you access a page, your browser loads the required fonts into the browser cache. For this, the browser you are using has to connect to Google's servers. This way Google becomes aware that our website was accessed via your IP address. The legal basis is Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR.
13. Social media and pixels
Plugins or tracking pixels may be used on our pages, such as the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and the LinkedIn Insight Tag of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. These tools are loaded exclusively after consent in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. a GDPR. They allow us to measure the effectiveness of advertising and to create target audiences.
14. Cookie Script
To manage cookie consents we use Cookie Script (cookie-script.com) by Beerneeds OÜ. This service stores your consent settings to provide you with a consistent cookie experience. The legal basis is the legal obligation under Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. c GDPR as well as our legitimate interest under Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR.
15. Zapier
To automate internal processes we use Zapier Inc. Personal data may be transmitted to Zapier where this is necessary for processing requests or newsletter signups. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR has been concluded with Zapier.
16. n8n workflow automation
We use n8n as a workflow automation platform to process internal flows and route form submissions, newsletter signups and pitches in a structured way. n8n runs either on our own servers in Germany or via the n8n cloud (provider n8n GmbH, Krausnickstraße 1, 10115 Berlin, Germany). Personal data may be processed in n8n, briefly stored and forwarded to the relevant target systems such as Brevo, Notion or our CRM.
The legal basis is Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b GDPR for contractually necessary processing and Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f GDPR for our legitimate interest in efficient handling of your requests. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR has been concluded with n8n GmbH where the cloud variant is used. With self-hosting, the data remains exclusively on our own systems.
16. Your rights as a data subject
If your personal data is processed by us, you are a data subject within the meaning of GDPR and you have the following rights against the controller:
